Frequently Asked Questions
Where is the Best Place to Put the Pebble?
For accurate snoring detection, the Pebble should be placed close to the snorer, not the partner. The company recommends installing the mount about 10 inches above the snorer's head, on the wall, or the headboard. Once installed, you can place the pebble in the mount to help Smart Nora detect early snoring signals no matter how your head is placed.
For optimum accuracy, do not:
- Place the Pebble further than 3 feet or 1 m away, and ensure you keep it at the same level as your head if you place it on your side table.
- Place the Pebble on a large table, glass, or vibrating surface.
- Place the Pebble close to noise sources such as a fan, a white noise machine, or radio.
How do I Reset my Smart Nora?
Resetting your Smart Nora is as simple as it gets; all you need is to use a paperclip or an object equally as thin to press the small Reset button housed with the Pebble (which should be between the Lock switch and the Bluetooth button), and in the Base Unit (which should be under the air nozzle).
Can I use two pillows with Smart Nora?
Smart Nora was designed to work with any pillow and for any sleeping position.
Can you travel with Smart Nora?
The good news is that you can travel with Smart Nora. The box in which you receive Smart Nora will include a battery that allows you to use the device for 24 hours without the electrical outlet.
How long does Smart Nora takes to charge?
It takes about 3 hours to fully charge when you first take it out of the box. For this reason, it is always better to charge it during the day so it’s ready for you when you’re going to sleep.
