About Alltrue
Alltrue, is a subscription service company, sending subscribers a box every quarter featuring the most exciting and sustainable products for the upcoming season. Alltrue uses some of the world’s most talented artisans who use sustainably sourced goods and they are always promoting up-and-coming talent. Molas’s creations are whimsical, playful, and witty, but they always retain a stunning sophistication.

They do not use animal testing or animal products and they try to help people in need too. They have connections with some fantastic charities. Furthermore, they are always using them to help some of the world’s most vulnerable people. To name just one example, for every tote bag they make, Alltrue donates 3 meals to the children in need.
Another important part of Alltrue’s mission is empowering women. Along with increasing their female workforce, Alltrue makes sure that they source products from producers who advance women’s power and agency. All their producer groups are owned by women, and the artisans working for these producers are 68% women. The annual subscription costs $149.85 for the first year and features 4 boxes. The annual subscription also offers a high level of customization to your Alltrue box as well as exclusive access to the members-only add-on market.
If you want to make more incremental payments for your Alltrue subscription, you can choose the quarterly plan. On the quarterly subscription, you will be billed $25 for the first quarter, consequently, you’ll have to renew each quarter for $54.95. Spring Intro Box Review (Current)
At the time of writing, the latest Alltrue subscription box is the Spring Intro Box, which is customizable through the annual membership only. As a result of signing up for the annual membership, you receive the spring box for free. If you get this box as part of the quarterly subscription box though, the company will make the decision for you (no customization possible). Whether you customize the box yourself or not, the Spring Intro Box contains at least $150 worth of lifestyle and wellness products.
In case you are purchasing the annual Alltrue subscription, you are able to customize each and every product. There are three products to choose from. The PMD Clean by PMD Beauty is a facial cleansing device. Its popularity grew in the beauty and skincare industry for having a minimizing effect on blackheads and the appearance of large pores and fine lines.
PMD Clean normally retails for $99. The Portable Blender by Blendjet allows users to make a healthy smoothie or an indulgent milkshake on the go. It normally retails for $79.95. Finally, Alltrue offers a Low Waste Super Bundle, which includes four products. It contains a selection of reusable alternatives to single-use plastics, such as reusable zip pouches and reusable baking sheets. The bundle is worth $58.
The spring box also includes a stylish Canvas Market Tote bag and annual members can choose between two colors: sea blue or coastal stripe. The 100% cotton tote bag has multiple compartments and pockets, making it perfect for traveling as well. Best of all, Alltrue donates three meals to children in need for every tote that’s made for this partnership.
More about the Spring Box
There are three options for the third product in the Spring Intro Box. The 17 oz. Insulated Bottle by S’well is a vacuum-insulated, three-layered bottle that can keep your drinks cold up to 24 hours or hot for up to 12. It normally retails for $35. Then, there are Marble Hex Coasters by Zeal Living, which are elegant white coasters made by African artisans.
Zeal Living fairly employs 9,000 artisans of which 60% are women, and the coasters normally retail for $42. Finally, the Travel Beauty Pillowcase by Ettitude is a premium bamboo pillowcase offering the height of comfort, with Alltrue describing it as “more silky than silk itself”. This luxurious pillowcase truly elevates sustainable living, and it retails for $25.
For the final product, subscribers can choose from three options. The Truffle Therapy Face Toner by Skin&Co Roma is a natural toner made from various Mediterranean botanical extracts and normally retails for $30. The De-Stress Muscle Gel by Aromatherapy Associates is a soothing post-workout gel made from black pepper and ginger.
Finally, there is the Stress Check Sleep Spray by This Works available, which is a natural blend of essential oils. You can spray it on your pillow before you go to bed and enjoy its calming and relaxing effects while you drift into sleep. The sleep spray normally retails for $25.
All in all, we say that Alltrue has lived up to its reputation with this Spring Intro Box. It is one of their best boxes yet, offering a variety of beauty products, home decor, and other goodies, as well as plenty of customization. The box is only slightly let down by the lack of customization on the Canvas Market Tote as the colors on offer are quite similar.
Alltrue Reviews by Customers
Surprisingly, Alltrue reviews are not overly positive. Currently, they have a 3/5 rating on Trustpilot, with over 200 reviews.
The biggest complaint seems to be that the brand wasn’t able to properly adapt to the COVID-19 crisis. One of the reviewers complained about the very slow shipping as their winter box did not arrive until February. The delay was particularly frustrating as the reviewer saw their favorite influencers receiving their seasonal boxes much faster.
Some reviewers complain about the value of the items. According to some, certain boxes contain quite valuable products, while others do not. Even with the hefty discounts that Alltrue offer, some reviews argue that the quality of the products often does not reflect how much Alltrue charge.
Finally, few women believe that the cancellation policy is not clear enough. For instance, one reviewer said they had not realized that renewal must be canceled at least 24 days before the shipment, so they still had to pay for the box.
Further customer reviews
With that being said, most Alltrue reviews seem to be positive. Lots of members of the Alltrue community love the quality of the customer service, which allows for swift changes of address and cancellation of Alltrue subscriptions. One review described them as “very quick to respond, super helpful, and very professional”. Many Alltrue reviews also praised the service’s understanding of accidental renewals.
While Alltrue/Causebox is on the pricy side, many customers believe the price is justified by the quality of the service and the value of the skincare and beauty products.
Here are just one of the many positive box reviews you can find on Trustpilot: “I just received my first cause box! I love everything in it! I am in love with the serum and massager. My face is glowing and softer than ever. I am almost 58! Tried everything in the market, and I mean 300 $ items. I am so elated that I did not listen to all the negative reviews. Just in the past week, I have told at least ten people to check it out! Also, did a bit of shopping on the open market. My only complaint is the slow customization of the box! One item at a time?”
One reviewer was very impressed by the inclusion of postcards from the artists and designers in the subscription boxes, as they felt connected to the artisans, and like that they were doing their bit to preserve the arts through Alltrue. They were also impressed by the ethical and environmental approach of Alltrue.

Once you decide which one you want, you will be directed to create your account. Your account will need an email, a password, and your delivery address. Once this is done, all that is left to do is to pay for your box subscription.
Once you have chosen your subscription plan you should head over to the ‘My Account’ page of the Alltrue website. Here, you can find a detailed shipping schedule to know exactly when your subscription box will arrive.
Alltrue Shipping and Return Policy
Causebox/Alltrue offers free shipping within the mainland of the USA to all subscribers. They do ship to Canada, Alaska, and overseas territories of the USA too, with a charge of $8.
Alltrue has a fairly strict returns policy. If you do not like a product, you will not be able to get a refund and you will not be able to exchange it for another one. The good news is if a product is damaged or missing you will be able to get a refund or a replacement. In any case, you should email the customer support team at [email protected] within two weeks of the products being delivered. Alltrue will not replace the products if you do not contact them fast enough.
It seems as if Alltrue is worried their subscribers might act in a fraudulent manner. They claim that some subscribers have reported a working product as damaged so that they could sell it and still receive their Alltrue products. If you ask for a replacement product to be delivered and Alltrue believes you are acting suspiciously they will end your subscription with them.
Alltrue Promotions & Discounts
The easiest way to save money with Alltrue is to choose to be a yearly subscriber rather than a quarterly one. Annual members are charged $39.95 less a year than those with a quarterly subscription plan.
Shopping in the yearly membership add-on market is also a great way to save money. The market features several hundred products at discounts of up to 70%, which is quite a lot!
For the Spring box, you can use the code SPR20 to get 20% off. Do bear in mind that this code only works if it is your first seasonal box and if you are newly signing up. Who knows, if you sign up this might be the best lifestyle subscription box.
How to Cancel Alltrue
Canceling your Alltrue subscription is free and easy if it is time to renew your subscription as you are not locked into a contract. However, you cannot cancel your subscription while it is running. Alltrue will not refund the remaining boxes and will continue sending them until the end of the year. They claim this is because they make orders and start preparing your boxes as soon as your subscription is renewed.
There are other options beyond waiting for your subscription to come to an end and then canceling when it needs to renew. Alltrue offers subscribers the option to pause their subscriptions. Pausing means that you will not be sent boxes until you renew the subscription. You will have the remaining boxes banked and you can start again at any point, receiving the box for that particular season.
All this can be done through your account on the Alltrue website or by contacting their excellent customer service team at [email protected]. You can also go to your bank instead of Alltrue, and ask them to stop payments to the company.
Contact Alltrue
Is there anything we haven’t covered in our Alltrue reviews?

If you are an influencer and want to get involved with the company, you can email them at [email protected]. Finally, if you are a sustainable producer and want to work with them, there’s a form you can fill out and send to the company.
Alltrue Reviews: Editors’ Verdict
The company’s philosophy certainly makes it seem like their service is worth it. By working with smaller brands that are predominately led by women, and offering sustainable, fair-trade products, this socially conscious company aims to make the world a little bit better and its customers happier.
The products they offer really are something to look forward to every season. From new skincare, beauty, and wellness products, to interesting home decor, travel trinkets, and other lifestyle products, Alltrue is highly versatile and therefore suitable for just about anyone.
However, the business has, at times, been let down by logistical weaknesses. In the world of COVID-19, people value companies that can continue their services as usual. Alltrue has undoubtedly failed in this area with multiple reviews reporting that the business attempts to use COVID-19 as an excuse for lengthy delays. Poor adaptations have made the company move slowly in areas that anger customers, such as when annual subscribers struggle to cancel.
Ultimately, Alltrue is not notably better than other subscription service brands or subscription box brands on the market, but it is certainly not worse either; in fact, we’d say it’s pretty much average in terms of the offer, value, and shipping (excluding delays). What makes people choose Alltrue over other subscription options is their ethics.
When choosing a subscription box, you should think about sustainability and whether it is extremely important to you. If it is, Alltrue or Alltrue might be the seasonal box service for you; however, if fair trade and sustainability are not something you deeply care about, there are other subscription service options you might like better.
